Nick Roell – President

Nick started his painting career in his hometown of Plymouth in 1998 by painting a large horse fence.

Since then he has never been far from a brush. Having worked for other painting companies, Nick found that his goals for first-rate customer service surpassed the expectations of others.

In 2001, he started Roell Painting Company in order to satisfy those needs. He has enjoyed having numerous projects in the Parade of Homes, Twin Cities Luxury Home Tour and the Remodeler’s Showcase.

Away from the office, Nick resides in Minnetonka and can often be found completing home projects. He also enjoys traveling, playing many sports (basketball, soccer, snowboarding) and spending time with his family, friends and Bengal cat, “Yoshi”.

Maddy Smith – Office Assistant

Maddy joined Roell Painting in 2009 as an office assistant. She received her Bachelors of Business Administration in 2006 at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire with a major in Marketing.

While in the office she helps with the accounting, marketing as well as many administrative duties.

When not working Maddy enjoys spending time with her friends, family and pets. In the summer she enjoys spending time on the lake or running in different races. In the winter you can find her on the broomball rink or snowboarding.

Isaac Vogel – Sales & Marketing

When not working, Isaac likes to spend time with his wife Anna, daughter Elsie, and their Wirehaired Griffon, "Rigby". He also enjoys golf, basketball and playing both the guitar and piano.

Patrick Doyle – Sales Associate.

Patrick joined Roell Painting in 2010 as a sales associate. Patrick was one of the first painter's to ever work for Roell Painting back in 2001. Patrick painted with Nick for several years before returning to school. He received his Bachelors of Busines Management in 2005 from Metro State.

Patrick resides in Eagan with his wife, Kedra. They have two beautiful children, Aiden & Quinn. Patrick is also a local fishing celebrity having won the Crane Lake Walleye Championship in 2010 & 2011.

Steve Roell – Sales & Marketing

Steve brings over 35 years of Sales, Marketing and Management experience to our team.  His customer focus is property managers and construction companies.

When not at work, Steve enjoys spending time at his cabin in northern Minnesota where he enjoys cruising on his boat and spending time with friends and family.

Jesse Maki – Production Manager

Jesse joined Roell Painting Company in 2001 and solidified himself as one of the hardest working painters the company has seen. Nicknaming himself “Picasso”, Jesse has a keen eye for a quality project.

When not on a ladder, Jesse is an avid outdoorsman. He relishes time spent fishing or in a tree stand hunting deer.

Joe Labarre – Job Supervisor

Joe joined Roell Painting in 2010 as a painter. Joe quickly moved up to job supervisor for Roell Painting after displaying an incredible work ethic and receiving many compliments for his craftsmanship. Roell Painting relies on Joe for many of their faux or detailed finish work.

Joe lives in Cottage Grove with his wife, Callie. They also have three cats; Paco, Sully & Kiki.
